All around the world the basketball court the basketball hoops are 10 feet (305 cm) off the ground. This is because all official association like NBA, FIBA, NCAA uses the same height.

All junior and senior groups have the same standard height throughout the professional league. However, some of the leagues may shorten the height of hoops for younger children to make the game enjoyable, easier, and shoot according to their capability

Why are basketball hoops 10 feet high?

The reason the height of the hoop is 10 feet is that when James Naismith invented the sport in 1981, he hung the peach basket on the railing track which was 10 feet high on the ground. The invention took place in Springfield, Massachusetts in the YMCA gym.
